THE EVOLUTION OF BOXING BRAZILIAN

Yes, there is still much to Brazil to reach the global positioning reported above. However, there is no denying that correct decision making by the Brazilian Confederation of Boxing are being translated into good results.
Take for example the year 2006 only. Brazil has already participated in four international tournaments this year. In early March, the Dominican Republic, International Tournament in Independence Cup, the Brazilian team brought six medals. Two gold, two silver and two bronze. He was in 3rd place in the competition, behind only the Dominican Republic and Cuba and ahead of traditional teams like Puerto Rico and Italy. But this award is an even greater significance when one considers that among the Brazilian wins included a few stars on Cuba. Myke Carvalho defeated Cuban Carlos Banteur. Banteur has over 200 fights. It was world junior champion in 2004 and silver medal in the World Cup 2005 Adult. In 2006, Cuban vice-champion and runner-up of the Cuban Olympic III. It is one of the main Cuban boxers at the time. In the III Olympiad Cuban, 1500 athletes participated in several sports foreigners who joined the 3000 local competitors.
